NSW: Byrne family pleased over arrest
New South Wales MP FRED NILE says the family of model CAROLINE BYRNE .. is relieved
an arrest has been made 11 years after her death.
Reverend FRED NILE says CAROLINE's father TONY is very pleased .. because he's always
regarded his daughter's death as a murder .. not a suicide.
Ms BYRNE's body was found at notorious suicide spot The Gap .. at Watson's Bay in the
city's east .. in June 1995.
Her boyfriend GORDON WOOD has been arrested in London .. and is expected to be extradited
to Sydney in the next few weeks .. to face a murder charge.
